Riley's Biggest Battle

Hi my name is Charlie. The day before starting secondary school my best friend, Riley was diagnosed with leukaemia.

He is 12 years old and has been so brave dealing with all of the treatment he has received so far. I miss my best friend being at school with me so much but I am so proud of how he is overcoming this awful illness. Despite him being in pain, he continues to smile and act like it's a normal day when we play games together.

He is being supported by his Mum and brother who are also doing an amazing job. His Mum is my Mum's best friend and his little brother is my little brother's best friend so as a family, we want to do all we can to help.

His Mum has had to stop working to be there for him every step of the way.

So to help them get through this awful period I wondered if you would be generous enough to donate a small amount of money to help pay for the petrol costs of going to and from the Hospitals, one of which is a 30 mile journey each way at least 4 times a week and food bills for the family.

Every penny counts and I would be very grateful if you could please help my best friend. I really hope 2024 is the year he wins this battle. Thank you so much
