Maxwell's World Scout Jamboree Journey

Donation protected
Hi all, my name is Maxwell Carter and I have been selected to take part in the fantastic opportunity that is the World Scout Jamboree.

I am from a military family, which moves around a lot, so I'm pretty good at making friends quickly. I’ve been in the scouting family ever since beavers at the young age of 6. I have been in three different scout groups, due to moving around all the time, these including a group in Oxfordshire, Chester, and now Malmesbury.

The World Scout Jamboree is three weeks of fun, literally: every day I will be exposed to a wide range of amazing activities. These include white water rafting and mountain biking in the surrounding mountains to sailing and diving in the lush sea next to the camp.The World Scout Jamboree also teaches you many skills that you will need in life but to take all this in you need to pay a fee of £4000.

In order to raise this significant amount of money, I am planning on;
Taking part in a sponsored swim, where I will be swimming a distance of 33 kilometres. Why this specific digit, you ask? Well, where we are camping for the WSJ lies the world’s largest artificial sea wall: the Saemangeum Seawall and one end to the other measures 33 km.

Please help me participate in this superb experience and donate a sum of money to help me pursue my dream of attending this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
