Meaghan's Dream
Donation protected
Meaghan has been invited to represent the USA in equestrian vaulting at a CVI in France over the Easter holiday (2020)! She has been working very hard for the last 3 years to make Team USA at the Junior World's Championships and this is a major step in that direction.
The competition in France is a Concours Voltige International or “CVI” competition. A CVI is where vaulters can earn qualifying points for the next world championships. They are also a way for advanced vaulters to experience the honor of representing their country at an international level. There will be several hundred vaulters at this particular competition.
To reach her goal Junior World's Championships Meaghan has shown outstanding dedication in her chosen sport. It takes a lot of work and commitment to compete at the highest levels in vaulting. She trains almost everyday. On Mondays, she have a dance class at Miller in Motion. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays are for vaulting practice which consist of two and a half hours (sometimes more) at the barn, both on the horse and barrel, doing drills and conditioning. On Wednesdays, Meaghan works with a personal trainer, Randy Holt, who is amazing. Twice a month, she has riding lessons that help her with moving and balancing with the horse. Finally, I Meaghan has “virtual” training with Daniel James (one of the top vaulters in the US) twice a month.
The money donated will go towards competition fees (expected to be around $1000), travel expenses and a new team leotard.
