School Fundraiser
Welcome to our school fundraising page. The parents and children of Ballyheada School raise essential funds throughout the school year to help support the running costs of our school. This year we are purchasing a cabin. It will allow us to provide a library for our children to enjoy and in the future we plan to extend it's use to add a sensory room.
One of our most important annual fundraisers is the school Christmas concert. This year, in line with Covid19 limitations, we have decided to perform in a virtual Christmas Choir.
21 of our school children are performing “Silent Night” to the backdrop of the wonderful River Rhythms Choir who are based in neighbouring Innishannon. The recordings have been mixed together to produce a truly unique sound.
In addition, the children in the junior classes are reciting “Twas The Night Before Christmas”.
Both performances have been produced under the guidance of Lorraine Florish who is a parent in the school and conductor of the River Rhythms Choir.
Through your generosity, the school will be able to purchase the cabin and fulfil our goal of having a school library and in the future a sensory room.
