Newton Splash Pad Fundraiser

The splash pad project is intended to draw people of all ages to Newton’s downtown to share and enjoy a common, central park space which Newton lacks. The park will provide adults with young children a fun, safe and free activity to do throughout the warm months of the year. The splash pad is intended to generate foot traffic in the Main Street District, create economic activity for local businesses throughout the week and provide a more walkable environment between the Downtown and Legacy Plaza- Newton’s second unique economic district.

The City Council approved location is in a vacant greens space within the Main Street District. The splash pad project is volunteer created and is to be funded by committee raised funds.
