North Berwick New Year Community Ceilidh

Hi, we are North Berwick New Year Community Ceilidh.

This time last year, inspired by the Pitlochry New Year Street Party, an idea was sparked 'what if we could have something like that here?'

We wanted to have an outdoor Ceilidh, and it was important that this would be a completely free event to attend, for all the family.

So, with zero budget we went about trying to make that happen.

There was a lot to learn, but somehow even with the weather doing it's worst at the last minute, the inaugural North Berwick New Year Community Ceilidh actually happened! And it was amazing!

We had two brave and supportive sponsors in Howard Selby Auto Services and The Stella Moffat Trust, and on the day the generous community of North Berwick, who donated into our buckets.

Despite these generous donations and grants, the day still has a short fall. The dream is to make the North Berwick New Year Community Ceilidh an annual event; any help with funding this free community event would be hugely appreciated and hopefully we can start the pot for another wonderful New Year's Day event.
