The redevelopment plan designed to upgrade our home, inspire our youth, and improve our future. By building a sports hub for all the community to enjoy.
Harefield United Football Club is the oldest club in Middlesex, currently playing in step 5 of the English non-league football pyramid, and we have over 40 teams playing for the club from U6's through to adults.
The Goal
- Redevelop our club and grounds with a 4G pitch
- To create a footballing home for all, from our U6's through to adults
- Provide accessible activities for all
- Be a place for all the community to enjoy and utilise
- Build a legacy for generations to come
Why a 4G Pitch?
- Provides the ability to play and train all year round
- Is a safe and reliable surface
- Less cancellations and match postponements
- More footballing opportunities for all
- Offers financial sustainability for the club
Current Challenges
- Our youth teams train and play across 3 different venues
- Frequent match cancellations and postponements
- Lack of a consistent home base
- Youth teams do not always feel part of the club
- Expensive training venue hire costs
