Outage: Help us Make a Sci-Fi Queer Comedy in the Desert
Donation protected
"Outage" is a sci-fi queer comedy set against the epic landscapes of the Mojave Desert. Help us make this film a reality!
With the heat threatening a grid outage, a queer couple sets out on their “perfect desert day.” There’s just one hitch: their bored pre-teen nephew is tagging along. But if anything can get him out of his video game, maybe it’s an encounter with a visitor from outer space. ️
Directed by Graham Kolbeins (Queer Japan) and produced by Jonathan Andre Culliton (Spookable), "Outage" will star Emmett Preciado (Good Trouble), Eli Amaro, and Lady Chilane (Willa Justice: Drag Queen Private Eye). We need your support to pay the mostly local cast and crew, hair and makeup artists, and location fees for iconic desert places like the Noah Purifoy Outdoor Museum. Help make our queer desert alien dreams come true!
