Pet Overpopulation Prevention Spay & Neuter Clinic
Tax deductible
Toyota of Tri-Cities Raises Their Paw to Assist Pet Overpopulation Prevention
In August of 2020, Pet Overpopulation Prevention purchased a home originally built in the 1940’s – turned into a dental office and now being remodeled to become their first low-cost spay and neuter clinic. However, they need our communities support to help outfit the facility with medical equipment and surgical supplies to make the clinic functional.
October 7th through November 7th, Toyota of Tri-Cities will partner with Pet Overpopulation Prevention to help raise the $83,757.00 needed to purchase these necessary instruments.
A GoFundMe page has been established and is accessible via the Toyota of Tri-Cities Facebook page. This page will provide an up-to-date list of needed items, total dollars raised and an option to make a tax deductible donation. In addition, should they wish, customers visiting the Toyota of Tri-Cities Service Center will have the ability to add their desired donation amount to their service bill at check-out.
Traditionally, POPP puts on their annual FurBall Gala Event to raise money for the continued operation of the organization. However, with restrictions on events due to COVID-19, the 2020 FurBall has been cancelled putting additional constraints on their budget and expansion plans.
Pet Overpopulation Prevention is a non-profit organization that promotes responsible pet ownership by educating the public regarding spaying and neutering their pets as well as providing various methods of caring for and finding homes for feral, abandoned and/or homeless pets. Their new spay and neuter clinic will provide local rescues with spay and neuter services prior to finding their forever homes.
