Please Help Me Go To The Cannes Film Festival

Hello, My name is Daniel Pico and I'm an independent filmmaker living in Janesville, Wisconsin. I have been making movies for the past two decades and have made a number of award winning films that have played in film festivals around the world. But, the most prestigious film festival in the world in the Cannes Film Festival in France, and my film "Reasonable Doubt" has just won a spot to play in the short film corner. For the last two years while living in Wisconsin I got involved in the 48 Hour Film Project, which is a filmmaking contest where you have to make a movie that is under 7 minutes in length and deliver the finished film in under 48 hours. You don't know what genre of film you are going to make, who the characters are going to be, nothing it all is picked out of a hat or assigned to your team. So, you guessed it our movie "Reasonable Doubt" was made in less the 48 hours and when we submitted the film to our world wide competition of more than 100 teams making movies the same weekend we can in the top 5 five films in the competition earning us a spot in a special screening during The Cannes Film Festival. The hard work of the last year making three other films trying to win the competition was grueling but so rewarding to finally succeed and we are so honored to have been selected. Only problem is going to the Cannes Film Festival is too expensive for me to go on my own so my greatest hope is if you're reading this you understand that this is one of the greatest opportunities for me in my life to attend the most prestigious film festival in the world with a movie we made in 48 hours that was good enough to show along with some of the best filmmakers in the world. Your support would be covering my air fare, accommodations, and meals while at the festival no frills I'm there to work and share my film and expirence of making movies in the midwest.
