Project Cadeate
Donation protected
Carlos and I stranded in a small fishing village in Ecuador have been in quarantine for several weeks following Corvid19 closures. After a man came to the house in need of food we decided to give 100$ to the local community center to buy food for its people. Starting with only 100$ and a wish to make life easier for our neighbors has turned into a weekly donation of 300$ thanks to donations from my friends on Facebook. The money goes to the community center where it is organized. More people show up every week to help buy and distribute food.
It is now time to branch out and make this an on going effort until they can safely go back to work. The government has been giving them 60$ a month , so you can imagine what 100$ can buy here . We never dreamed it would blossom into such a wonderful and beautiful act of love. So many people happy for the food and happier yet are the donors and volunteers who see our weekly food supplies .This simple act and idea has filled us with hope and gratitude and a vision far brighter then we imagined. Your help to keep this village and it’s people fed is appreciated beyond words and by so many . Cadeate and it’s humble people have hope, dignity and a chance to pass on the giving to their neighbors. Muchisimas Gracias.
Love wins!!!
