Gone too soon...Mario Aversa

November 7th, we lost a very special person..a father, friend, a man that lit up the room with his smile.  Mario Aversa was 46 years young.  Mario's sudden passing was caused by a heart attack and complications from diabetes.  He left behind 2 beautiful, vibrant young daughters and their wonderful mother.  This man was truly one of a kind. He was one of the special type of people that would drop what he was doing and lend a  helping hand if a friend was in need.  He was always just a phone call away if you needed someone to listen or needed some much needed advice.  Mario was also an enormous part of the LBI community.  His customers were his friends and family.  Through the crazy hustle and bustle of the summer months he still always found time for his beautiful girls.  This family has been tested through the years and has beaten the odds in more ways than I can explain. They have gone through tragedies that no family should ever endure, yet they always came out stronger.  No one knows the fate of Mario's Italian Market at this point.  But it would take 4 people to replace Mario.  Dawn and her girls are obviously still in shock.  I cant imagine having to explain this sudden tragedy to my children, let alone start to pick up the pieces emotionally, mentally, and financially.  Without her asking I want to try to do whatever I can do to help Dawn and the girls, whether it be funeral costs, utilities, groceries, mortgage payments, the upcoming holidays, etc.  Any little bit helps.  This amazing man will be missed by all.  Dawn, be strong,those little girls need you so much. I know you will persevere, that fire inside you will guide you.  We are all here for you and love you.
