Right now, tens of thousands of dogs are living in animal testing facilities.
- They’ve never felt grass beneath their paws
- Never curled up on a couch
- Never known what it’s like to feel safe
For many, when the testing ends, so does their life.
Currently, lawmakers are making changes that will help these dogs get released to special rescue organizations, instead of automatically being euthanized.
Tens of thousands will soon take their first steps into freedom…but freedom is only the beginning. The ones who are released have deep behavioral issues and trauma. They don’t know how to live in our world.
Normal everyday occurrences often trigger their PTSD:
- Walking through a doorway
- Hearing a car door close
- A human reaching down to pet them
That’s why I started The Keeper & Kin Project; we are the only behavior specialist team in North America dedicated to rehabilitating former research dogs. We are the official training partner of the rescue organizations that receive these dogs from the labs.
We:
- Travel nationwide to help sanctuaries and rescues
- Assess, diagnose, and create custom rehabilitation plans
- Coach fosters and adopters so these dogs can thrive in their new homes
Tens of thousands of dogs will be released soon, so there is a growing need for our help now.
We know how to help them, but we need you.
- Your donation helps us travel where we’re needed most
- Your support gives traumatized dogs a second chance at life
Please watch our short video. Once you watch, you’ll understand why your support matters so much. If you’ve ever fostered, adopted, or loved a not-so-easy-dog, you know what it takes.
Together, we can give these dogs what they’ve never had before:
Safety. Trust. Play. Family. Love.
Please, donate today!
