Remembering John Mahoney

John Mahoney, age 25, died on July 3rd after a sudden illness. He had battled a severe case of pneumonia in the hospital for several weeks, and then was released and seemed to be recovering, only to take an unexpected turn for the worse. His death has been a shock to his mother, Catherine, his siblings Karl, Izzy, and Bill, and all of his family and friends. His family needs help to cover expenses and to pay for a memorial service to celebrate his life.

Though we, John’s loved ones, are struggling to comprehend what has happened, we know that we are left with countless memories of John’s unforgettable smile, wry sense of humor, and generous spirit. We thank you for your love and support.
