Remembrance Grove to Honor Miscarriages

This is an opportunity to donate to a very special cause. Please support Trees of The Gorge by donating to our planting of a Remembrance Grove to honor miscarriages.
On November 9th, we will come together to have a heartfelt ceremony at Great River in Mosier, OR as a tribute to the precious souls that went to the beyond before entering this world and then we will plant a grove of native trees in their honor. This will be a healing and sacred event that will grow into a healing and sacred place. So many parents feel isolated in their grief after miscarriage or even unsure if they have the right to grieve. With this space, we hope to provide these messages to parents who have miscarried: You have the right to grieve. Your baby was and is precious and important and acknowledged. We support you in remembering them. We support you in creating beauty and nourishing life in their name.
Anyone is welcome to donate to this worthy cause, whether or not you’ve experienced miscarriage. If you would like to donate a tree in someone’s honor, please make a note of that and if this soul was given a name, please include that. Their name will be read in the ceremony preceding the planting.
Each tree is $15 and anyone is welcome to contribute as many trees as they’d like. It’s also OK if more than one tree is offered in honor of the same person. We need at least $1,000 to bring this event to life and any amount exceeding our goal will be put toward buying more trees. There is space for this grove to grow! We are so honored and deeply touched by your love, support and generosity. We couldn’t do this without you.
