NEMT Transportation

Hi! My name is Miquel. I recently started an independent medical courier business, Solutions In Transportation, delivering medications to loved ones who do not have readily available access to a vehicle. While looking for ideas to grow and scale my business, I came across a service called NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transport). I thought this would be a perfect addition to Solutions In Transportation LLC. I've worked in the healthcare industry as a patient service representative, pharmacy technician, and outreach specialist at a community health center, so I've seen firsthand the issues of not having adequate, reliable transportation. My goal with this fundraiser is to purchase an ADA-compliant minivan to transport loved ones to and from their medical appointments, pharmacy pick-ups, and physical therapy. Any funds raised past the $15K goal will fund rides for loved ones who do not qualify for Medicaid services or cannot afford out-of-pocket expenses for transportation needs.
