Hello friends, my name is Abigail from Oregon in the United States. It is my honor to introduce you to Sarran ( s-AIR-rahn ). Sarran is a man of God who lives in The Gambia. He is the sole caretaker of his surviving family members: his mother (age 49) and his 5 younger siblings. Sarran is 17 years old today. Here is a quote from Sarran (11/18/25):

"It all happened in a day-- my dad and two brothers died in a tragic accident. It was two years ago. That day changed everything for my family. Since then, my life has been full of hardship. We struggle DAILY for food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. Sometimes, we go days without barely ANYTHING to eat... but we keep holding on, trusting that somehow, help will come."

In 2024, Sarran's life changed forever: a car collision took his father's and 2 older brothers' lives. Additionally, in this moment, Sarran's mother is battling breast cancer. She continues on in severe, constant pain. Due to cost, medical treatment is not a choice Sarran can make. It is dire. The images shared with me are graphic and upsetting beyond words. His siblings are as follows: ("Mal," male, age 3-- "H," female twin, age 5, "A," male twin, age 5, "Y," male, age 7, and "Mai," female, age 9.) In total, this is 7 people. This family has already lost a father and their two eldest sons. Sarran is certain that The Lord, our God will spare his mother's life. Please donate to save their mother's life.

Here in Oregon, I am ready to physically mail the supplies from near the Portland, OR area. Primary requested items: 1.) cold weather supplies for the family and 2.) medical supplies for his mother with breast cancer. From my home, I can print shipping labels, do packing, and take it to the post office. You may drop off items to my residence, mail them to me, or I can drive to pickup donations. Nonetheless, physical mail takes months to deliver to The Gambia from Oregon. For this reason, Sarran has requested that GoFundMe donations should be sent to my secure bank, J.P. Morgan Chase. From there, I will transfer all of the money directly to Sarran on his Wave bank account. This is similar to VenMo app.
