Hi I'm a high school student from Fremont, California named Rishabh Saxena.
My mother is one of many health care workers fighting for us. They are soldiers on the front lines fighting a war against the terrifying new enemy "Covid-19” that is exponentially growing. They need ammunition, weapons, and armor to win this fight.
CDC recommendations have asked doctors to make their own protection, but the evidence is clear: only certified masks and gowns will do the job of protecting healthcare workers. Nowhere is it more clear than in the 10% to 1% infection rate drop in China and Korea after correct personal protective equipment was implemented.
The need for more protection is imminent. With more exposure, the likelihood of contracting Covid-19 drastically increases. Therefore, healthcare workers are at a much higher risk.
