Celebrating the Life of Scott Walsh

On February 16th, 2025, the world dimmed when we lost Scott Walsh, a devoted son, brother, cousin, nephew, godfather, and friend, and the treasured husband of Dawn Walsh.

Scott was a man of few words, but his word carried weight. He was dependable and loyal. He was a passionate hunter and lover of family, cars, and his beloved Rangers & Dolphins. The first to show up for those in need. Please help honor his legacy by showing up in the same ways for his family and the love of his life, Dawn.

Scott & Dawn were high school sweethearts and their love never subsided. Theirs was a marriage of mutual respect, loyalty, and laughter. And after over 33 years of marriage, Scott still made Dawn giggle and blush. He fought hard to stay by Dawn’s side as long as he could, battling disease and life-altering events with determination and gratitude for life.

This GoFundMe, organized by friends of Dawn and Scott Walsh, will help cover the costs of funeral and medical expenses that have mounted over these recent months, and provide some relief during this heartbreaking time. Any donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden as she faces the days ahead without him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck. On Saturday, a service will be held at 10 am at the funeral home.
