Send Maura to the Ironman World Championships

For those of you who know Maura (Ryan) Pearsall, you know that she is one of the most selfless and giving people you will meet. Asking for help or taking from others just isn't in her nature. That's why it's difficult that we are now asking our friends and family to help support Maura in a once in a lifetime opportunity to compete at the 2023 Ironman World Championships on August 26th in Lahti, Finland.

Maura was a two-sport athlete at Penn State (Soccer and Track & Field) who is known as a fierce competitor in everything she does. Whether that's sports, baking, game nights, you name it. Since becoming a mother just over two years ago she has felt that something has been missing. That fierce competitor was missing the thrill that comes with competing. To no surprise to those who know her, she picked one of the hardest things anyone could think of and signed up for the 70.3 Ironman at her alma mater. After training for just three months and with little to no triathlon experience, she crushed her goal time of 6:00 hours and finished in an impressive 5:41. She was 1st in her age group in the running portion and 4th female overall out of 580 competitors in the run. Based on her age group and times she was invited to the 2023 Ironman World Championships!

Given that the championships are just 7 weeks away, we would be unable to take advantage of this amazing opportunity without timely financial assistance.
