Sheryl’s Olympic Trip

As a few people have now very kindly messaged to help my mum out, I thought it might be worth setting up a page.

As many of you know, my brother Brad is competing in his second Olympics on the 8th August in Paris and my mum has been excited about going to watch him since his silver in Tokyo (when none of us could physically be there). She’s got all of her red, white and blue outfits packed and ready to go…

However over the weekend, my mum lost £350 whilst out shopping, which was the money she had saved to change into euros for the trip. It’s been reported missing to the police, everywhere in the house and car has been searched and she has called all of the shops that she visited - with no luck. We don’t know if it’s been dropped, stolen or left somewhere, but it’s a significant amount of money that most people can’t afford to lose (my mum included).

If anyone would like to donate to support my mum in replacing her spending money for this once-in-lifetime trip to see her son at the Olympics, any amount would be massively appreciated.

In the unlikely event that the original money is ever recovered, anything raised here will be donated to SportsAid, a charity that supported Brad through his Taekwondo journey from grassroots to Olympian.
