St Bride's Church Ukraine Appeal

With the war in Ukraine escalating, more and more people are having to flee to other countries. Homes are being badly damaged or destroyed, and families are being separated. The suffering is unimaginable. Already almost 1 million Ukrainians have fled to Poland, and as the situation worsens, more help is needed. Your donations can help to buy food, water, first aid products, warm blankets, sleeping bags, and clothes.

We have also launched a local appeal for donations of these items, and the response has been overwhelming. We hope to be able to transport the donations to Siedlce in Eastern Poland in the middle of March.

Raising £5,000 would help to cover the cost of packaging, transportation, ferries, fuel, complex legislation and paperwork, toll fees and insurance.

Any money left over will be donated to The Caritas Siedlce (Poland), who are assisting the refugees.
