Stephen Hinton's Memorial Fund

Donation protected
On August 19th, a few days into a Cape Cod family vacation, tragedy struck the Hinton family while they were enjoying an afternoon at the beach. Stephen was swimming with his daughter, Lucy (8), while his son Wyatt (2), wife Emily (maiden name Munro), and mother Carolyn were playing on the beach. While swimming, Stephen suffered a cardiac event, and despite lifesaving efforts he unfortunately succumbed to his condition.

At the young age of 42, Stephen leaves behind his wife of 11 years, two children, his father (Stephen D.) and mother, extended family members and many friends.

Stephen was a loving, loyal, selfless, and hard-working man who dedicated himself to his family enthusiastically. He had a deep love for animals and his many pets over the years. Stephen was generous, quick with a kind word, and lived life to the fullest. He was a loving, big kid at heart that shined through each conversation, school function, and family fun day. Stephen's greatest love was making every moment count with his family through laughter and unconditional love. His humor, quick wit, and extensive Star Wars knowledge will be remembered fondly by all that knew him. Stephen was deeply loved and is missed beyond words.

Stephen was the sole financial provider and insurance carrier for his family since the Covid pandemic. While dealing with losing the love of her life, the father of her children, taking on end of life challenges, and trying to comprehend her new life as a 36 year old widow, we, their loved ones, are committed to doing everything we can to ease the financial burden laid upon them by creating this fundraiser to support her and their children through the grieving process. Financial donations will help to ease the pain and pressure of end of life costs, medical bills, grief therapy, insurance costs, the childrens’ needs, and living expenses.

At this time, the family is working through their loss and hope to plan a celebration of life at a later date.

With gratitude,

Stephen Hinton’s loved ones
