Stuart Kilimanjaro

My name is Alex Howes and in February I will be attempting to climb Mount Kilmanjaro in Tanzania which is the tallest free standing mountain in the world standing at nearly 6,000 metres.

 

Unfortunately in September my big brother Stuart died of a sudden heart attack which hit both myself and the rest of my family very hard which is why I am trying to raise money for heart research.

I realise that I set up a fundraiser for a different charity last year to climb the same mountain but due to the pandemic that did not go ahead however with the death of my brother still very fresh in my mind then I changed the charity that would benefit from my Trek. Unfortunately I was advised that it is not possible to change the original fund raiser which is why I have set up a new page - therefore for those of you that have already sponsored me then thank you very much for your donation which Cancer research will still get your donation.
