Sunrise Rescue
Sunrise Rescue is a newer 501(c) non-profit no-kill rescue based in Southern California. We are all volunteers and rely heavily on donations to help save lives! A majority of animals Sunrise Rescue takes in require extensive medical care. When other rescues decline the more severe cases, Sunrise Rescue steps up because we believe every animal deserves the chance to see a new day. We treat & heal ringworm, mange, intestinal parasites, and physical injuries from abuse & neglect. We give chronically ill, hospice cats that are so sick everyone else has given up on them, a safe place to enjoy the rest of their days and be loved. We bottle feed abandoned underage kittens, support pregnant mamas, save cats from the euthanasia list at shelters, and liberate cats from the streets of Mexico. No medical record will scare us away. Each cat has a unique history, and we love them all!
Sunrise Rescue rigorously vets all cats prior to adoption. We have high standards and ensure every cat is in stable health, spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea-treated, dewormed, vaccinated, and FeLV/FIV tested. We do not inflate adoption fees for purebred or "fancy" cats- all kitties are equally beautiful in our eyes :)
We provide our fosters with all supplies, medical, transportation & 24 hour support. Direct donations of items we consistently go through are always appreciated!

Sunrise Rescue also established "Violet's Playpen". A program where specific cats are reserved with no adoption fee for families who are experiencing a situation of grief, such as loss of a parent or child, and are in need of an emotional support cat.
