Support Catto's journey to Japan
Donation protected
Hello, everyone,
My name is Ian Hackett, and I'm reaching out to you with my son, Catto Hackett, fundraising for an incredible opportunity that has come his way.
Catto is a dedicated 12-year-old Margaret River Karate Club member since 2016. He has been invited, along with other senior belts, to represent the club community at the international home of Shotokan Karate in Japan in March 2024. The invitation recognizes his dedication, skill, and positive attitude, guided by Sensei Ken Rouw.
Throughout his time at the Karate Club, Catto has demonstrated exemplary conduct and commitment to the art of karate, making him an outstanding ambassador. He readily assists in club events and helps younger members during training and grading sessions.
The Club has generously offered to support Catto as he seeks financial assistance from the community to fund the trip. Donations will pay for his airfares, accommodation, passport, travel insurance and other essential travel expenses.
Catto is an all-round kind and caring person and has demonstrated academic excellence and financial need, recently graduating from Margaret River Primary School with the Bright Futures bursary award.
We are reaching out to the local and broader community, seeking support to help Catto embark on this invaluable journey. It will be an experience of cultural exchange that will foster a lasting connection and leave an enduring impression in his mind and his future with the Margaret River Karate Club. Your generosity will help him to continue to carry the values of discipline, perseverance, and community spirit learned through the Club.
We sincerely appreciate all your support and generosity, empowering him to make this unforgettable journey and represent the Margaret River Karate Club and our community.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support Catto's dream.
Warm regards,
Ian and Catto
