Support Corey Miller' fight to recovery

First, thank you for all of the donations so far, all help is appreciated and Corey is blessed to have supportive people care for him the way you all have so far! Corey arrived at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center on 10/02, via ambulance. Corey is currently receiving 24/7, ongoing medical care and preparation for his rehabilitation program that will span across the next year. As Corey is transitioning into his rehabilitation program, more information pertaining to medical necessities he will require for the rest of his life are being learned. Corey will require a specialized wheelchair & specialized clothing with this. He will also require the ongoing support of medical staff daily. With your continued donations, we will be able to meet the goal of Corey having these necessities for the remainder of his life.

Hi, my name is Lisa and I am fundraising for my nephew Corey Miller. On September 11th, 2023 Corey's life was changed forever in a horrific motorcycle accident. Corey was on his way to his second job, shortly after leaving his first job, and was hit by a commercial van. Corey's injuries were life-threatening, he was transported to Baystate Hospital and he was placed on life-support and a ventilator for over 2 weeks with various medical challenges arising each day. Through the support of Corey's excellent medical doctors at Baystate Hospital, he was able to be removed from the ventilator in the past week. However, Corey's injuries from the accident were so extensive that Corey is now paralyzed. Corey will require intensive rehabilitation support and will be transitioned to a rehabilitation facility for the next year to learn how to live life with these permanent injuries.

The medical bills are extensive, and Corey's recovery will require ongoing medical expenses for years to come. We are starting a GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with extended medical treatment for Corey & his family. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact in Corey's medical support.
