Support for Sherry’s Children

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the tragic and senseless loss of Sherry Thomas Blaka.  Sherry was a blessing to all of us who had the privilege of being a part of her life.  She was a loving, dedicated mother and true friend.  Her bright, genuine smile, infectious positivity and passion for life lit up every room she entered.  She truly did more for other people than she did for herself and made countless people’s lives better through her selfless generosity. We have truly lost an angel!

Sherry was the owner of Blush Boutique in Calabasas and Thousand Oaks.  Her businesses were fixtures in the communities she served for over 15 years.  She always generously supported those communities through fundraising boutiques for schools, charities and churches.  Sherry was successful because she was warm, welcoming and genuine and made every woman who shopped with her feel beautiful!  She had a natural sense of style and confidence and truly cared about helping people feel good about themselves.

Sherry’s love for her children was immeasurable.  She cherished motherhood and her time with them. She cared for her children with pride and passion.  We intend to carry on this legacy and help care for and support them.

We are asking for your help at this devastating time. We are raising money not only to help with the expenses of finalizing her affairs, but more importantly to help support her beautiful children.  We earnestly hope that we can provide some measure of assurance and security for their future.

We appreciate and thank you for your generosity and donations.  All funds will be managed by her loving sister, Renee Chipman, who is devoted to Sherry’s children.  We know this would be Sherry's wish, knowing that her children are being supported by all of us.
