Our dear friend Jamie has been bravely living with Huntington’s disease.
As symptoms progress, everyday tasks, mobility, and communication become increasingly challenging.
What is Huntington’s Disease?
Huntington’s disease (HD) is a rare, inherited condition that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. It affects movement, mood, and thinking ability, gradually making everyday life more difficult. Sadly, there is currently no cure, but with care, therapy, and support, quality of life can be improved.
All funds raised will support the family’s ongoing and future needs, including:
Specialist medical care and therapies (physio, speech, occupational)
Home adaptations and mobility aids
Emotional and financial support, including long-term security for the family
We’re committed to transparency and truly appreciate your support.
