Peck’s and Peckish Employee Fund

Thousands of hourly and tipped workers in the restaurant industry have been laid off as a result of business closures during the COVID-19 crisis. I'm the store manager of Peck's and we were forced to close our doors to both our cafes (Peck's and Peckish). We can't afford to retain staff while business operations are stalled, so we had to lay off 26 people who now have no cash flow to pay rent or buy groceries.

I am starting this fundraiser to humbly ask those who might have extra to spare right now to help unemployed people who are in desperate need. I will be communicating directly with my team to find out who needs help and then distribute the money directly to them.

Your contribution would mean so much to me. My team is my family and it has been painful to let them go with deep uncertainty of when we will be able to hire them back. Anyone who has been to Peck's and Peckish knows that our staff is comprised of exceptionally wonderful people.
