Support Sara's Stage 4 Cancer Journey

I'm fundraising for my remarkable sister Sara. She loves her friends and family fiercely, enjoys travel and experiences, is an incredible cook, and loves fashion.

 

Sara was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer in 2018 when she was 32 years old. The first couple of years following her diagnosis were understandably incredibly hard. She underwent many rounds of chemo, colostomies, colostomy reversals, colostomies again, and many more treatments. After all of this work, her scans showed that she was cancer-free! Sara really handled all of this with an incredible amount of strength and grace and started to move on with her life. She got married, got promotions at work, bought a house, and enjoyed her friends and family, who she loves so much.

 

Unfortunately, one year ago, a scan showed that the cancer had returned with a vengeance. The cancer has grown so much that Sara has had to have more chemo; she now has an ileostomy and recently needed to have her hip replaced. Up to this point, Sara has managed to pay all of her medical bills, but on the eve of yet another round of chemotherapy, she needs help. Her oncologist recently suggested to Sara that she stop working and start focusing on treatment. Unfortunately, that's not currently financially possible. So, I'm creating this fund to help ease any additional stress so Sara can concentrate on her treatment.
