On Sunday, September 6, Dwayne and Laura Schrock and their five young children, Ashley, Eric, Jesse, Emily, and Alex, were involved in a serious horse-drawn buggy accident near Clarita, Oklahoma.

For those who know Dwayne, you likely know him through DS Tire or simply as someone who has always been willing to help when there was a need in our community. Dwayne has supported many local causes and families over the years, often quietly and without expecting anything in return. Now, our community has an opportunity to come together and support Dwayne and his family during an incredibly difficult time.

Following the accident, Laura and the children were flown to Oklahoma City for treatment, while Dwayne was transported by ambulance. Their injuries have been significant.

At this time, Eric and Ashley have the most serious injuries and remain in ICU. Jesse underwent successful surgery on his leg and is progressing. Emily is also progressing, but she has a broken pelvis and will need to use a wheelchair while she heals. Laura is awake and has been moved out of ICU, although she continues to be in significant pain. Jesse, Emily, and Alex have been moved into the same room, where Dwayne is able to stay with them.

Ashley, Eric, Jesse, Emily, and Alex are only 9, 7, 5, 4, and 2 years old. There is still a great deal of healing ahead for this family, and right now it is impossible to know all of the needs they may face in the coming weeks and months.

All funds raised through this GoFundMe will be given directly to Dwayne Schrock to help support the family throughout their recovery.
