Susan Weber Memorial, Hillman Cancer Center

If you knew my mom, Susan Weber, you likely are aware that she battled cancer like a warrior over the past twelve years. She tackled breast cancer twice, enduring a double mastectomy and multiple rounds of chemo and radiation, only to be faced with it a third time when the cancer metastasized in 2019. Even with the odds against her, she bravely continued to fight each and every day. When others would have thrown in the towel, she remained optimistic that if she could just hold on, a new treatment or therapy may come out to give her more time---or better yet, be cured. 

Although her cure wouldn't come and our prayers were left unanswered, my family still feels indebted to the amazing team at the Hillman Cancer Center of New Castle. They took excellent care of my mom over the years and the staff went above and beyond to make mom comfortable.
