Who? Supporters of Wamogo Agriculture Sciences Foundation (SWAGS) is a non-profit organization that helps students and educators of the Wamogo Agricultural Science and Technology Program develop and grow by providing state-of-the-art learning environments, tools, and resources. Our mission is to help empower students to pursue their goals while developing into innovative leaders and productive community members.
Why? Well-rounded, well-educated leaders who can confidently enter the next stage of their lives–vocational or educational–equipped to tackle whatever challenges come next: these are the young adults in our lives. The next generation who will bolster our community, our state, and our country--students of Wamogo's Agricultural Science and Technology Program. These students and their teachers are who SWAGS is committed to supporting in every way possible.
What? Supporters of Wamogo Agricultural Sciences (SWAGS) Inc. is raising money to be donated in the form of educational grants to teachers within the program. The grants will be given for educational experiences and projects that will directly benefit students within the program. Examples of such an experience include, but are not limited to, a guest speaker, a wet lab, or a class field trip! The experience should enhance the teacher’s current budgeted curriculum, as well as provide additional education that the students would not otherwise have access to.
This year we have donated:
$25,000+ to the Arethusa Foundation
$1500.00 for Veterinary Sciences students to become certified in Pet First Aid
$1500.00 for Natural Resource students attending the Yellowstone Forever Trip
How? Our goal is to raise $250,000 through grants and independent donations to allow for continuous and long-lasting grants to give all students within the Wamogo ASTE program opportunities to become the leaders, innovators, and professionals they are destined to be. It starts with you. Donate in our future today!
