Swim 30km for the League of Friends

A year ago I had a stroke. My rehab took some time, I will never be quite the same again, but I have made a good recovery. I know I am one of the lucky ones.

Over the year I have received nothing but the best support from a number of fabulous NHS teams. To say thank you I will be taking on a swimming challenge to raise funds for the West Berkshire Community Hospital League of Friends. I will be attempting to swim 30k in 30 days starting on April 11th.

The League of Friends work hard to raise money for the West Berkshire Community Hospital. For example they kitted out the physiotherapy room with the latest equipment which has made a huge difference for stroke survivors and many others.

If you would like to support me and contribute to this fabulous cause, please donate here. Thank you for your support.
