Talented Teens to play hockey in Europe January 2026!

Help Quinn & Fletcher represent Australia on the Wanderers Junior Hockey Tour of Europe!

Hi, my name is Shelley, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping my two incredible teenagers, Quinn and Fletcher, take part in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — representing Australia on the Wanderers Australia Junior Hockey Tour of Europe in January 2026.

This prestigious tour brings together talented young athletes from across the country to compete internationally, travelling to London, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France to play against some of the top junior and professional hockey clubs in Europe.

Not only is this a unique sporting and cultural experience, it’s a powerful development opportunity where players receive elite coaching and are exposed to different playing styles they wouldn’t encounter at home. For young athletes with big dreams, this tour is truly life-changing.

Why We're Fundraising

We are a hockey family — our kids have lived and breathed the game for about five years now. Quinn and Fletcher have both trained tirelessly, taken on challenges well beyond their age level, and continually shown dedication to the sport.

While we’re working hard as a family to save every dollar we can, and we will cover the cost as parents for us to go and support and cheer them on, the cost of sending both of our children on this international tour is significant, set at $6785 per player by Wanderers Australia . We're reaching out to our wider community — friends, family, and supporters — to help make this dream a reality.

Meet Quinn and Fletcher

Quinn (16) is an outstanding and talented goalkeeper playing in senior men’s teams, often against players with decades of experience. Their commitment has seen them selected for the Junior State Championships in Victoria four years in a row, and play in both the Men's Vic League 2 Reserves and Vic League 2 teams for our hockey club. Quinn also played in the Melbourne International Cup in 2024

Fletcher (14) is a tenacious and skillful field player known for leaving it all on the pitch. Playing well above his age group in both junior and senior men’s teams, Fletcher has also trialled and been selected for the Junior State Championships for the past two years and continues to push toward his goals with unwavering focus. Fletcher plays in Men's Vic League 2 Reserves and Vic League 2 Men's divisions and started in this Men's division when they were just 13 years old!
