TEXAS NEEDS A MANDATORY APPRAISAL

If you drive in Texas, you're legally required to have car insurance, and if you disagree with your insurance company about the value of your car or any damages, there is nothing you can do if you are a policyholder of some insurance companies.

This allows these Insurance companies to operate extremely profitable businesses, creating insurance policies that always end in their favor.

In fact, State Farm recently removed the Appraisal Clause for repair procedure claims from their policy, and other leading insurance companies are following this trend.

To fight against this, in 2021, Robert McDorman and Auto Claim Specialists submitted a bill to the Texas State Legislative body. This bill would have given all Texas drivers the Mandatory Right to a Fair Appraisal. Meaning, if you and your insurance company disagree about the value of your insurance claim, those disagreements would be settled by an independent 3rd party.

Auto Claim Specialists went through several rounds with the state legislators, and it seemed like the bill would pass. However, at the last minute, due to unknown 3rd party interference, the rug was pulled out from under our feet. Which meant insurance companies continued to place whatever value on insurance claims they wanted.

Fast forward one year, Robert McDorman and Auto Claim Specialists haven't given up. We're preparing to return to Congress the Capital one last time. But now, we need your help.

To fight against these giant insurance companies takes a great deal of resources. To hire the legal staff that is necessary to pass a bill would be too great to fund on our own. That is why, we are asking for your support.
