We aren't solely a website: we are a platform that tries to amplify the voices of Alabama's wonderful culture: maybe we’ve reached out to you for your perspective or perhaps you’ve come to us with an idea for an article or a podcast. We've said yes, bring it, and that we love it!

Our podcasts and shows cover everything from music to sports to books and wrestling, interviews with local heroes, and stories that resonate with our beautiful state and beyond its borders. But to keep this journey alive, we need a little support.

We have been a trusted, fun, silly, and encouraging source of content since 2008, consistently delivering thought-provoking pieces of writing and, since 2017, pointed podcasts.

Our podcasts have inspired, informed, and entertained countless listeners, offering a unique perspective on entertainment from an Alabama perspective. It's the South with some spark.
