The Flip Kick Skateboard Project
Hi there! The Flip Kick Skateboard Project is a program geared towards fixing up and donating skateboards(and helmets!) to foster kids and teens in the area. I very much understand that what foster children need most is loving families, clothes, and other life essentials, but I think that it’s also really important for them to have something special which they can use to have fun and let loose. I know firsthand the therapeutic benefits of skateboarding and it’s something I really want to share with as many people as I can.
Any donations of skateboards or helmets, old or new, used or pristine, of any size and shape would be greatly appreciated. I plan to refurbish any and all boards I can get my hands on and get them out to kids who are interested in or already enjoy skateboarding but may not have the means to get their own. Gear is the main goal, but monetary donations would also be greatly appreciated in order to purchase any new parts that will be needed for the boards, as well as more helmets.
If you’d like to donate skateboards or helmets, shoot an email to [email redacted] and we can work it out!
Unfortunately, the gofundme page no longer accepts donations, but you can visit the website and donate from there!
