The Makai family need your help!

We're absolutely devastated and heart broken to be letting family and friends know that the Makai family - Johnny & Jess, parents to Melachi, Bella & baby Winter - have been told the most gut-wrenching news that our beautiful, kind, loving, spiritual Bella girl has been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer at just 8 years old!
The Makai family are still adjusting to this news so please be mindful that questions and well-meaning messages may cause further grief to the family at this time. Johnny & Jess will reach out to you all when they are ready and willing.

Bella has had lumps on her groin for the past couple of months, while they haven't been painful and no side effects, the family were concerned and continually got them checked and tested to be told that it's a potential infection and they will go away on their own.
The lumps hadn't gone away and recently, just a short 4 weeks ago, Bella had been experiencing dizzy spells with fevers to which again prompted the family to get them checked with more testing. They were told it was an infection and the lumps and symptoms will go away... again they didn't..The family took Bella to the Royal Children's, where she was admitted for testing and a biopsy of the lumps. The doctors advised that it was best just to remove them all together, after the surgery, to the shock of the family, they received the terrible news that it was Lymphoma Cancer and three lumps were removed! Two days later, another surgery to insert a 'Central Line' in Bella's chest to commence Chemo therapy over the coming days - as well taking fluid to conduct more testing. The family have been told that Bella will be in hospital for many months to come! Our little angel will miss out on school and time with her friends for some time with a long hospital stay needed.
Johnny is self-employed running a successful painting business, Jess is currently on maternity leave after having baby Winter just a short 8 weeks ago (born on the 21st September). The family also purchased their first house earlier this year. Whilst they should be in newborn heaven and celebrating the new addition to their growing family, they are currently in the hospital dealing with the worst possible news any parent should NEVER have to face!
We're asking for any kind of donation you are able to provide - financial, physical and prayers for our beautiful Bella and the Makai family.
If you are able to provide financial support, please donate here - this will alleviate immediate pressures and allow the family time to be together and help Bella get through this awful disease! This will assist with mortgage, bills and general living expenses and given this is still fresh news, the financial cost of undergoing treatment and hospitals stays is still unknown.

And if you're praying for our girl, please please pray for a healthy recovery, we need as many prayers as we can get!
We will post updates once we know any further information, treatments, progress, etc.
Thank you so much for taking the time to even read this and anything you can help with won't go unneeded!
