The Reckoning Fundraiser - Community-Driven Art

Oakland has long been a Mecca for large-scale Burning Man art pieces, and though the community has taken a hit in recent years with rising costs in the Bay, there are some of us keeping it alive!

The Reckoning is a 14' tall and 22' diameter deer skull with antlers that sweep downwards to embrace the viewer. Equipped with internal LEDs and a surround sound system, a single step onto the platform will activate a beautiful audio visual experience meant to induce a meditation on the nature of personal impermanence. Coated in crackling leathered skin and crumbling rust armature, this primordial force invites us to release into the inevitable.
