Please join in the contributing support and effort towards the purchase and development of Rhode Island's 24 hour Black FM Radio Station. In a climate where many are in public solidarity through the hashtag "#BlackLivesMatter" it must also be understood, "Black Voices Matter", "Black Education Matters", "Black Business Matters" and "Black Lives Matter", not merely in a hashtag or for a moment but in everyday life and generations to come. The fact that black music and talent, has and is continuously capitalized and monetized by White owned corporate structures, is a sad reality and in desperate need of immediate change. As quoted by Malcolm X "The media’s the most powerful entity on earth.". This quote has surely been proven accurate, as society is a direct reflection of the media's desired portrayal. Without control of our own media we are directed, influenced and manipulated in whichever way may benefit the corporate structure at hand. It's necessary that we control our own media. If "Black Lives Matter" the black community must have transparent ownership of it's own voice, through radio and media. Together we can change the culture of Black media in Rhode Island.
In 2009 Michael Costa (DJ Rukiz) founded Providence based Internet Radio station MusicFeen. Setting out with a goal of creating an internet radio station you can hear, see and feel, DJ Rukiz accomplished that and more . Through the use of multiple in-studio cameras MusicFeen live streamed it's studio 24/7 onto it's website which allowed fans to engage in an innovative live experience. The website not only displayed the live stream but also allowed viewers to comment and check in through a virtual chat. With the emerging popularity of MusicFeen, the studio became a destination for popular Rhode Island DJ's and Artists to showcase and cultivate their craft. MusicFeen also welcomed many national and internationally acclaimed artists onto its platform, playing a role in there promotional role out. MusicFeens popularity was also seen through successfully hosting and promoting live events, responsible for selling out many of Rhode Islands concert venues and bringing the city many of the music industries most popular Hip Hop and R&B artists. To grow the MusicFeen Brand into the realm of internet and podcast radio the transition was made to form The Juice Broadcasting Group. The Juice kept many of the same elements of MusicFeen while increasing focus on the aspect of internet radio with the intention of working towards entering into Terrestrial Radio. The Juice Broadcasting Network, today is still active as a popular internet radio station and respected voice in providence. With many attempts made to receive the FCC license and approval to broadcast on terrestrial FM, Costa has been repeatedly told by the FCC that there are no window's available. After years of fighting for the opportunity to receive FCC approval Costa is ready to take the initiative of acquiring a terrestrial FM signal with an existing FCC license from a private seller. This next step of acquisition will take The Juice Broadcasting Network into position to be the platform for the people by the people and will allow for The Juice Broadcasting Network to operate at 100%, redefining black media in Rhode Island.

-Creating a resource for education, employment, and community development.
-Creating a structure, promoting and directly assisting in the economical development of the black community through financial literacy, skill training, career resources, small business advertising and company employment.
-Creating a completely transparent business focused on forming strong, trusted relationships with the people of Rhode Island.
-Creating programming and community outreach initiatives based on mental health and wellness.
-Creating a visible platform, allowing for emerging local artists to be heard seen and felt by a wide audience, brining forth greater opportunities for Rhode Island musicians and creatives.
-Creating a firm bridge between the station and it's listeners allowing information to travel securely , to those who find value in it.
