Tia's Memorial Scholarship Fund

Most people have a favorite teacher. I bet you’re thinking of yours right now. For as long as anyone can remember, Tia wanted to be an elementary school teacher. This year her dream came true at Bancroft Elementary School and her very first 3rd grade classroom. There’s no doubt that Tia would have become the favorite teacher for many students. For many of us, she was already our favorite person. 

As we try to make sense of this senseless tragedy, Tia’s family and incredible group of friends would like to create a memorial scholarship in her honor. These funds will go directly to a graduating senior at Pentucket Regional High School who is going on to pursue a degree in education. It is our hope that this worthy student will carry on Tia’s legacy of dedication to educating, nurturing and lifting up the next generation. We will be transferring all funds raised directly to the Pentucket Regional Scholarship Committee to create a permanent endowed scholarship in Tia's name. Thanks to your incredible generosity, a PHS student will receive this scholarship every year from now on.

Please feel free to contribute anything you can - no amount is too small. And as hard as it may be right now, please smile and remember the love, laughter and true light that Tia brought into this world.
