tkRaum – Gemeinsam machen wir es möglich!

Manche Räume sind mehr als Räume.

Sie werden zu Erinnerungen. Zu Begegnungen. Zu einem Zuhause.

Das „acting and arts“ im denkmalgeschützten Neufang-Gebäude in Saarbrücken ist für uns genau so ein Ort. Hier haben wir in den vergangenen zehn Jahren unzählige Tango-Veranstaltungen, Seminare und internationale Events organisiert. Hier sind Freundschaften entstanden, Menschen aus vielen Ländern zusammengekommen und eine lebendige Gemeinschaft gewachsen.

Nun gibt die Inhaberin Petra Lamy die Räumlichkeiten auf.

Damit droht nicht nur der Verlust eines Raumes, sondern eines wichtigen kulturellen Treffpunkts für unsere Region.

Wir möchten verhindern, dass dieser Ort verschwindet.

Unsere Idee: der tkRaum

Wir möchten die Räume übernehmen und daraus den tkRaum entwickeln – einen offenen Kulturraum für Saarbrücken.

Natürlich wird er die neue Heimat unserer Tango-Aktivitäten sein. Gleichzeitig soll er aber auch anderen Kulturschaffenden offenstehen: für Tanz, Theater, Workshops, Ausstellungen, Vorträge, Proben, Meetings und kreative Projekte.

Ein Ort, an dem Menschen sich begegnen, voneinander lernen und gemeinsam Neues schaffen können.

Warum wir Eure Unterstützung brauchen

Die Übernahme und der Umbau der Räume sind für uns eine große finanzielle Herausforderung.

Im ersten Jahr müssen wir unter anderem investieren in:

* Renovierung und Umbau

* Licht- und Tontechnik

* Möbel und Ausstattung

* Infrastruktur

* die laufenden Kosten während der Aufbauphase

Wir beantragen Fördermittel, können aber nicht sicher damit rechnen. Selbst wenn wir Unterstützung erhalten, bleibt ein erheblicher Eigenanteil.

Deshalb starten wir diese Kampagne.

* einen wichtigen Kulturort in Saarbrücken zu erhalten,

* einen neuen Treffpunkt für Kunst, Kultur und Begegnung zu schaffen,

* und einem Ort eine Zukunft zu geben, an dem Gemeinschaft entstehen kann.

tkRaum – Ensemble, nous y arriverons.

Certains lieux sont bien plus que de simples bâtiments.

Ils deviennent des souvenirs. Des lieux de rencontre. Un véritable chez-soi.

Pour nous, les locaux de « acting and arts », situés dans le bâtiment historique Neufang à Sarrebruck, représentent exactement cela. Depuis plus de dix ans, nous y organisons des événements de tango, des séminaires et des festivals internationaux. Des amitiés s’y sont créées, des personnes venues de nombreux pays s’y sont rencontrées, et une véritable communauté y est née.

Aujourd’hui, la fondatrice, Petra Lamy, quitte ces locaux.

Sans nouvelle solution, nous risquons de perdre non seulement un magnifique espace, mais aussi un lieu culturel essentiel pour toute la région.

Nous voulons empêcher cela.

Notre projet : le tkRaum

Nous souhaitons reprendre ces locaux pour créer le tkRaum, un espace culturel ouvert au cœur de Sarrebruck.

Il deviendra naturellement le nouveau foyer de nos activités de tango, mais notre ambition va bien au-delà. Nous voulons également accueillir d’autres artistes, enseignants, compagnies, associations et initiatives créatives : danse, théâtre, ateliers, expositions, conférences, répétitions, réunions et projets culturels.

Un lieu où les personnes pourront se rencontrer, apprendre les unes des autres et créer ensemble.

Pourquoi avons-nous besoin de votre soutien ?

La reprise et la rénovation de ces locaux représentent un investissement considérable.

La première année, nous devons notamment financer :

* les travaux de rénovation,

* le matériel de sonorisation et d’éclairage,

* le mobilier et les équipements,

* les infrastructures,

* ainsi que les frais de fonctionnement pendant la phase de lancement.

Nous avons déposé des demandes de subventions publiques, mais leur obtention reste incertaine. Même avec des aides, une part importante des coûts restera à notre charge.

C’est pourquoi nous faisons appel à votre générosité.

* préserver un lieu culturel important à Sarrebruck,

* créer un espace ouvert dédié à l’art, à la culture et aux rencontres,

* offrir des locaux accessibles à des projets créatifs et associatifs,

tkRaum – Together, we can make it happen

Some places are more than just buildings.

They become memories. Places where people meet. A place to call home.

For us, the “acting and arts” venue in the historic Neufang building in Saarbrücken has become exactly that. Over the past ten years, we have organised countless tango events, seminars and international festivals here. Friendships have been formed, people from many countries have met, and a vibrant community has grown.

Now, the owner, Petra Lamy, is giving up this location.

Without a new solution, our community risks losing not only a beautiful venue, but an important cultural meeting place for the entire region.

We want to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Our Vision: tkRaum

We want to take over these premises and transform them into tkRaum—an open cultural space for Saarbrücken.

It will naturally become the new home of our tango activities, but it is meant to be much more than that. We want to open it to other artists, teachers, performers and creative initiatives for dance, theatre, workshops, exhibitions, lectures, rehearsals, meetings and community projects.

A place where people can meet, learn from one another and create something new together.

Why We Need Your Support

Taking over and renovating the venue represents a major financial challenge.

During the first year we need to invest in:

* renovations and improvements,

* sound and lighting equipment,

* furniture and facilities,

* infrastructure,

* and the operating costs during the start-up phase.

We are applying for public funding, but there is no guarantee that it will be approved. Even if we receive grants, we still have to cover a significant part of the costs ourselves.

That is why we are asking for your help.
