To help Faye's family make Memories

With the Family's permission I have started this page. Faye is a typical 9 year old girl & 4 weeks ago she took ill,her Mum Elaine took her to the local Wishaw General Hospital, where Elaine said to the Staff she thought Faye had taken a stroke as she was complaining of a sore head & pains in her left leg ,arm & hand, after 5 days without seeing any specialist Elaine demanded an MRI. So it was quickly organised for the same day at the Royal Hospital for Sick kids in Glasgow, so Elaine took Faye through in the car. The MRI was done that day & specialists then told Elaine they needed to get her Husband Gavin here ASAP, Elaine said Gavins at home with the other 3 children. So a taxi was sent to bring Gavin to the Hospital, where they were both told that Faye had a tumour very deep in her brain called a Hemiparesis,which affects 1 side of the body. The specialists were scared to do a biopsy as the tumour was so deep in the brain & because Faye is so young ,but after Mum & Dad pleading with them the specialists decided to go ahead, so the results came back yesterday & it's stage 4 cancer & chemotherapy is not an option but they plan to do a 6 week course of Radiotherapy in the hope that it stops the tumour from spreading or growing. The prognosis for this Beautiful Kind cheeky funny 9yr old is not good & her parents have been told that their baby girl Faye has between 6/ 12 months to live. So please give what you can to help this lovely family make beautiful memories with Faye. Thank you.
