Dearest family and friends,
On Tuesday, February 16th, Ray Perea unexpectedly passed away at the age of 52.
Ray was known as a charismatic and kindhearted person. He had the best personality and was so easy going. Never biased, never critical; always accepting and happy. He was a good person, so full of life. To say that he brought big smiles and good spirits everywhere he went is an understatement. He had the best sense of humor and when he laughed, he did so with all of his heart. His voice was recognized as a smooth talker, with a jazzy and professional tone—known well across the state as a classic rock DJ and sports announcer. He was also known as a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and for his love of sports.
Ray was a loved son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He loved his children and family very much and cherished every minute they shared together.
We thank you in advance for any monetary donation, as we know these are trying times. This unexpected and sudden loss has left Ray’s family shattered. We hope that this collection will ease the financial stress during this time and allow them to focus on grieving and loving one another. All donations made will be used to pay for Ray’s services and burial expenses.
