Maple Bay House Fire - Tom and Leslie

We would like to express our heart felt condolences to the families of the 3 lives tragically lost in this fire. Our hearts and prayers are with them and their family members. May they rest in peace.

On the morning of October 28 Tom Kalmar and Leslie Cameron lost the home where they were tenants and all of their possessions in a devastating house fire. Those of you who know Tom and Leslie know them to be kind, generous, loving people.

Their daughter Brianna and grandchildren Ayla, Oakley and Mika have been so blessed to have Leslie & Tom so close by, and many happy memories were shared in this home. It’s a tragic loss for everyone involved.

Tom and Leslie are currently looking at finding a new place to live and replacing a life time of possessions. Any help or assistance at this time would be greatly appreciated.

update: Society Barbers and Society at the Hall is hosting “For our Neighbours Fundraiser” on Saturday November 9th and will be donating all profits for the day from both shops. They will also be collecting donations on Tom and Leslie’s behalf, if you would like to contribute but don’t need a haircut.

The couple needs clothing, natural based products as Leslie is a cancer survivor and everything else to endure this horrible time.

Leslie wears a ladies XS and Tom a men’s small or medium.
