Tom Gibson Memorial Fund for Youth Sports

Hello. The Gibson/Chaput family is starting a memorial fund that will be used to help and support youth sporting opportunities. Tom/Dad/Pa was a huge sports fan his entire life. He was especially happy watching his kids and grandkids compete in youth athletics. Tom was also a sports standout in his high school days in both basketball and tennis. He competed at the college level in tennis and remained active in the tennis community well into his 40's and coached the Big Rapids High School Boys Tennis team for a period of time. Tom's kids and grandkids participated in motorsports, skiing, football, tennis, golf, track, swimming and horses and he took more than just a passing interest in all of these activities. Besides being the family "Superfan", he volunteered his time to facilitate all of his children and grandchildren's endeavors. The family is currently researching the opportunities that this fund will support. Our focus will be on supporting an organization that provides opportunities in youth sports in the Central Michigan area. We thank you in advance for contributing in his name to this fund.
