Trevor Kent Memorial Bench

On Dec. 27, 2007, we lost our dear husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend, Trevor Kent, to ALS.
Trevor spent many hours cruising the paths at the Lynn Canyon Headwaters, soaking up the wild beauty of the North Vancouver mountains and canyons where he grew up. In the spring following his death, Trevor's family sprinkled his ashes at the Headwaters and a commemorative bench was set up at that particular site with his name on the plaque. He does not have a plot in a cemetery....this is Trev's final resting place, one that is very special to his family.
Unfortunately, the 10-year lease on the bench has now expired and the Pacific Parklands Foundation want $4500 by the end of October to lease the bench for the next 15 years, or they will remove Trevor's plaque and give the bench to someone else. As you can imagine, Trevor's family does not want to lose the bench and the sentimental significance of the location.
We need your help! If we work together, we can raise enough funds to maintain this meaningful spot, and Trevor's children and many friends and family members can continue to enjoy the beauty of the Headwaters while remembering a man who was very much loved and is very much missed.
