Tripp Family Emergency Aide

On Thursday December 21, 2023, long time Hy-Vee employee, Donna Tripp, and her family suffered a devastating fire resulting in the complete loss of their home. Upon arrival at Kossuth Regional Health Center, Donna's husband, Marvin, tragically passed away. Donna was sedated and transported to Mercy One in Mason City, where she is currently on ventilation.

The Hy-Vee family is reaching out to our loyal customers and the community at this time for financial support during her recovery as she works toward rebuilding her life. All donations will go to Donna.

Donna is back in Algona and is getting settled into an apartment. She is gaining strength every day and is looking forward to getting back to work. Funds will be used to pay for medical bills, lost income and any other expenses.
